*Co-Founder with 3 partners; shared responsibility for managing equity risk capital of more than $60 million which was expected to generate over $2 billion worth of infrastructure projects in Africa and Asia. *From April 2005 – December 2007, led the team’s efforts in Southeast Asia and South Asia where Vietnam was a target market (group shifted 100% of focus to sub-Saharan Africa as a result of additional round of funding for Africa-only projects in December 2007). *Responsible for effort to expand pipeline of projects in sub-Saharan Africa where key new markets included Tanzania, Cameroon, Senegal and Rwanda. *Originated and co-developed a 21,000 pallet position cold storage facility in Ho Chi Minh City which was sold to a private sector, strategic investor and secured private sector debt. *In 5 years, grew team from 4 partners to a team of 20-plus professionals in New York, London and Accra, Kampala and Lusaka.
*Structured 6 financed projects helping to secure over $200 million of capital; projects ranged from Harlem residential to a Scottsdale, AZ hotel.
*Prepared company for auction and helped managed the sale process which resulted in sale to McGraw-Hill.
