The implementation was done without the use of consultants and all tasks and training were performed by existing staff in their respective local languages. * Remedied severe material internal control weaknesses, corrected material errors in previous financial information and issued delinquent audited financial statements for two years shortly after joining Company. Interfaced with auditors in Mexico City and the US (BDO), preparing all financial reports for their review, audit and sign-off without adjustment. * Prepared and filed all delinquent US tax filings, oversaw the Company’s successful effort to come into compliance with all Mexican fiscal (tax) requirements. * Negotiated substantial discounts on past-due amounts owed by Company and its subsidiaries to various parties for debts incurred during prior periods of severe underfunding.
