Our commercial activities include contract analysis and maintenance strategy development. We support through the entire bid process from development of request for proposals (RFPs), bidder reviews through to formulation and negotiation of new agreements, renewals or upgrades. We provide technical augmentation such as; owner's engineer support, technical due diligence, life cycle analysis and obsolescence management. Our team have expertise in mechanical and power plant control (TCS/DCS) systems.

An executive member tasked with developing a pioneering new business servicing other Original Equipment Manufacturer’s utility gas turbine power plants globally within GE’s power generation service business. Responsible for all aspects of the start up; commercial activities comprising market evaluation, product positioning, sales and tendering process and team creation. Operational activities included product NPI development, organizational design and capability build out in supply chain, engineering and field services. All congruent with the business level strategy. Accomplishments: Successful buildup of a talented multi function organization of approx. 400 personnel Sales pipeline growth of over $1B with order growth of $200M in first year. Drove commercial intensity, actively developing and selling industry pioneering wins with tier one customers. Active business and pipeline development with market penetration in Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and US. Successful implementation of Fast Works NPI programs, managing the majority of GE power services NPI budget. Completed development of differentiated turbine upgrades, well positioned for future growth. Multiple first of a kind service works completed with customer satisfaction scores at 5/5 for services rendered.
Lead the Alstom Thermal Services Rotating Equipment Business. Managing all aspects of a $100M business consisting of Gas/Steam and Generator products. Oversaw business level strategy and implementation, marketing & pipeline growth, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, tendering, execution & supply chain. An officer and executive member of Alstom Power Canada Inc. Accomplishments: Streamlined organization more in line with market demands, restructured organization to better serve our customers, whilst improving unit efficiencies. Successful closure of 100% of all complex projects per business strategy through personal commercial focus and deal negotiation. Improved employment engagement index from 67% to 87% (Alstom norm of 65%) Lead yearly growth for core business, whilst improving business cash cycle. Developed oOEM strategies with various global product centers, resulting in expansion of services into oOEM equipment inclusive of major service contracts on both GE and Hitachi turbines, both of which are first of a kind in Canada.
Managed gas turbine major outages. included direction on technical scope, scheduling milestones and monitoring financials for projects up to $10M with project teams of 120 associates. Responsibilities included logistics of parts, manpower and tooling. Collaborated with owners of the power plants and reported regularly on project status to management. Accomplishments: Pioneered Alstom’s decentralization of project management in North America for the Canadian market resulting in the establishment of local management of projects in this region. Exceeded client expectations in achieving record breaking schedule and budget KPI’s on the TransAlta Poplar Creek and Sarnia job sites, receiving customer satisfaction - 9 out of 10.
Oversaw marketing, development and global deployment of Alstom's control products. Managed both commercial and technical aspects from, product vision, R&D and configuration management through to branding, customer awareness, sales channels and global pricing strategies. Accomplishments: Successfully developed and closed initial orders for business ramp up. Expanded controls products globally resulting in 42% revenue growth year on year.
