Visual artist, I am passionate about arts, medias, new technologies. I’ve worked for artists, galleries, shows, events, contemporary and street arts, sailing between disciplines as they are all connected together. Skills that I use for my personal artistic work and projects. Growing up in an artistic environment, i studied arts and participated in local and international Street/Graffiti arts movements while working as web designer and music production for more than two decades. It later on lead me to working for galleries and artists, and then studio manager as well as artistic assistant for Jin Meyerson, managing other assistant’s work, as well as assisting in the painting’s creations. My other passions are : Music that I’ve been producing since the early 2000s. Cooking, specialised in Vietnamese, Cambodian and Lao traditional cuisine. I’ve organised services for people, restaurants and events going up to 160 persons, in various environments such as bars, festivals in the desert and private events. Today, I am looking to work in an artistic effervescent environment, not only to use my knowledge and very diverse experiences for my job, but also to happily learn new skills. Such a job would allow me to pursue my own artistic adventure on the side. Studio Management (2006 - 2009) For contemporary painter Jin Meyerson, co-ordinating other assistants work following exhibition deadlines. Assistant : oil and acrylic painting, inking, video projection drawings and image preparation. I have traveled around the world with Jin Meyersons for international exhibitions such as the following : Graphic Design / Web Design (1998 - 2022) Conception and creation of visual identity , flash animation, outrun presskit cds, web site design, CD & LP design, packaging design, logo design, visuals (Posters, stickers, flyers), photo editing … Contemporary Painting (2008 - 2022) My personal work is a militant act, whether it is to stigmatize the perverse effects of American politics, and more broadly Western politics, in the "hot" corners of the world, or those of a cynical exploitation of natural resources in developing countries. I seek through the precision of the details, the quasi-photographic rendering of the scenes represented, not a hyper-realistic vision, but rather, beyond the emotion of the images, an aesthetical shock through the composition, the construction, the colour, and the technique used. These fictitious scenes obtained by collage and by montage of fragments of reality, are more realistic than reality itself, and speak to us more.
