About

Multiple manuscripts in preparation. • Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills with experience preparing both scientific manuscripts and oral presentations. • Excellent lab management experience and experienced with ordering systems. • Relevant coursework in microbiology, biotechnology, virology, molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, parasitology, and statistics. • Proficient in analyzing genetic data using various software including Excel, GraphPad Prism, and Geneious • Recipient of competitive research grants and awards including the Class of 1920 Award in Sciences Excellence in Biology, research stipend award through the USAMRIID College Qualified Leaders program, the Dean’s List at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania from 2013 – 2016, and NIH Merit Awards from 2019-2020. • Passionate about diversity and inclusion in science
