Appointed to Meraas Development in April 2008 to set up the Contracts and Commercial Department for this Sheikh Mohammad owned Development company. The company was established to redevelop large areas of central Dubai and the signature Project is the $95 billion US Dollar Jumeira Gardens Scheme encompassing iconic commercial towers, canal works and coastal island reclamation works. The role encompassed the establishment and development of standardised Contractual forms, policies and procedures, and the hiring of a Contracts and Commercial team at the outset. The scope of the team encompassed all Pre and Post contract administation duties up until the establishment of a seperate Pre Contract team, following which the team performed all Post Contract Administration functions in order to support the Development and Project Teams.
