My passions are Film Drama, TV Comedy and Animation. As a Video Producer for CNET.com I continue to work with some of the best editors and production crew across the planet. I also dabble in screenwriting so that I might bring my own stories to life and use my directing skills in conjunction with my other abilities. I am also a keen radio presenter and hope to work in local radio in the future part time or as a volunteer.
Working for the tech site CNET is a wonderful experience. The increased responsibility of being a Producer has given me more creative freedom and greater leadership in pre-production. While I still direct, shoot and edit video, I also manage budgets, arrange locations and work with various service providers. I am growing contacts by the day. My work is now shared globally across the web with view counts of my content growing at a rate of thousands per minute.
I shoot and edit branded video content for a variety of Redwood’s clients. These have included Mazda, M&S, LaRedoute, Barclays and Fujitsu. The work ranges from simple talking head style interviews to interactive motoring films and beauty and fashion videos. I also manage the video workload for the company and recommend freelancers when needed to boost our small video team so that client’s content is always produced to our high standards.
In addition to visiting the wards, talking to patients to collect requests and tune in the bedside entertainment units, I presented the Down Your Ward show. It was an hour of patient requests, chat, fun features and competitions. The music was VERY varied as I played anything the patients want. This means I have played Dolly Parton and House of Pain back to back!
