Director of Operations | Bassett Outdoor – Alabama Haleyville, Alabama As Director of Operations for Bassett Outdoor Alabama, I lead our full-process manufacturing facility specializing in high-quality aluminum outdoor furnishings for both residential and contract markets. Our products support the Lane Venture, Bassett Outdoor, and Bassett Outdoor Contract brands—recognized nationwide for design, durability, and customization. At our Haleyville facility (acquired by Bassett in 2019), we manage the complete production lifecycle: Raw aluminum conversion through cutting, bending, TIG & MIG welding Advanced surface finishing and electrostatic powder coating Final assembly and quality assurance for commercial-grade performance In 2023, I oversaw a major facility expansion and significant upgrades to our real estate, equipment and processes, positioning the plant for greater efficiency, scalability, and long-term growth. My focus remains on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering premium outdoor solutions for our partners in hospitality, multifamily, and residential markets.
Part of team that lead acquisition, financing, strategies, and financial & operational oversight of Lakeland Community Hospital, located in Haleyville, Alabama. During tenure made additional acquisitions of medical practice and real estate to assist in creating revenue and cutting expense, all in an effort to navigate the challenging business model of a rural hospital.
Crimson Casual 2009 – 2019 Crimson Casual was a domestic manufacturer of aluminum outdoor furnishings serving both the residential and contract markets. Our products were built from raw aluminum extrusions and castings, and fabricated through advanced processes including cutting, bending, MIG & TIG welding, finish grinding, and electrostatic powder coating with a durable 400°+ baked-on finish. I provided hands-on leadership across all areas of the business, including: Product Development – designing innovative outdoor collections tailored for residential, hospitality, and multifamily clients Manufacturing Operations – overseeing production, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives Sales & Marketing – driving growth through strong brand positioning and strategic customer relationships Financial Management – guiding fiscal operations, budgeting, and long-term planning In October 2019, Crimson Casual was successfully acquired by Bassett Furniture Industries (NASDAQ: BSET), integrating our product line and manufacturing expertise into the Bassett Outdoor family of brands.
