Through LinkedIn, I hope to find amazing, career-building opportunities as a way to learn and further my career experiences now that I have graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Macalester College. Along with my passion for education and the STEM, I also love music and the amazing ways it connects people.
As a Technician and IT Support specialist, I am tasked with various responsibilities. Specifically, I work with computer, tablet, and smartphone hardware and software.
As a Software Development Associate for Infosys, specifically in the User Experience Team, I have the opportunity to work on a variety of different client projects to gain experience in this role. While waiting for each new project, I work towards refining my skills or learning new programming languages as a way to make myself a well-rounded team member.
I completed training as a Junior Software Developer through Revature’s technology talent development track. While at Revature, I focused mainly on full-stack technologies such as Java, Angular, and Microservices Architecture. Additionally, I gained experience in completing simulated full-stack projects, including databases, testing, back-end servers, front-end user interfaces, and hosting on an AWS EC2.
I served as a Tutor for the Macalester Academic Excellence Center on the Macalester campus. As a tutor, I would assist clients with multivariable calculus and physics courses, while helping foster a warm and welcoming tutoring community.
Reach the World makes the benefits of travel accessible to K-12 classrooms, inspiring students to become curious, confident global citizens. During this role, I generated two pieces of media each week about my own experience abroad and shared them with a classroom of 5th graders. Media ranged from informational articles to uploading my own travel videos as I was abroad in Singapore.
