Solid background in the medical and pharmaceutical area, specially in the planning of experiments, execution of experiments and scientific data analysis, as well as documentation. Demonstrated skills in planning, solutions definition, and implementation in highly dynamic environments. Furthermore, my colleagues would describe me as a quick learner which is not afraid of taking responsibility and looking for pragmatic decisions. Outside of the office, I am interested in the preparation of qualitative good coffee. Lastly, I am a really talented cook and handcrafter.
- Responsible as technical lead for leading and executing customer projects such as media/ feed optimization, seed train- and bioreactor process development, scale-up and process characterization for early and late phase projects - Extensive cell cultivation experience in working with small-scale multifermentor systems, bench-top, wave, and pilot-scale bioreactors. Harvesting process using depth filters and disc centrifuges. - Plan project scope, timing and resource requirements - Support of Technology Transfers as sending and/or receiving unit - Implementation and Optimization of Down-Scale Models for upstream production processes of recombinant proteins - Design experimental plans based on defined deliverables, planning the activities to meet the project timelines by working closely with the project managers - Author, review and approve reports, study plans, protocols, SOP`s, work instructions etc. - Technical discussions with clients and work on technical solutions that meet client needs and expectations - Representation of USP labs Lengnau in cross-functional teams and present and discuss the data and project progress - Representation/ Deputy of Manager USP Labs, Lengnau (since August 2022) - PPI Process Manager & PPI SPOC for BPS Lengnau (since June 2023) - BSO (since June 2025) - Responsible for ordering of lab material and for equipment maintenance ad interim (June 2022 - May 2023)

Focus area: Upstream and Downstream Processing - Production During Project Phase (Building of a new manufacturing facility): - Gains recombinant coagulation factor manufacturing knowledge in our clinical and commercial manufacturing facilities. - Support Sending sites or development departments for the performance of studies in the frame of Technology Transfer to Lengnau. - Participates in Technology Transfer activities to implement the cell culture production process in the new facility (e.g. Techtransfer Plan, GAP analysis, FMEA, Risk analysis, study plans and reports).
Focus area: Upstream Processing - Development - Scientific and technical activities in the field of bacteria and cell cultivation (process characterisation and optimisation) - Planning an execution of bacterial fermentation in different systems and at different scales (250mL – 10L) - Execution of harvest and clarifications - Planning and execution of project work packages in accordance to GMP and GLP guidelines (Process instructions, Equipment instructions and SOPs) - Writing of scientific reports, test plans and master batch records according to GLP guidelines - Scientific data analysis and presentation - Support process transfer activities - Support the maintenance and calibration of instruments as well as writing operating manuals - Evaluation and Implementation of new technologies (e.g. ambr250; multi cultivation system) - Troubleshooting / -solving in term of investigations - Support of qualification and validation in cooperation with the qualification/validation team
