About

Currently, I serve as Founder and CEO of Vintaflow, where I help wine and beverage businesses modernize their supply chains with a multi‑echelon platform purpose‑built for the alcoholic beverage industry. I bring more than a decade of end‑to‑end experience across the global wine value chain, from running my own Belgian wine distribution business to leading wine buying, sourcing, and import operations for major retailers in Europe and the United States. I started my career in applied economics, earning a PhD with a dissertation on governance and boards of directors, and developed a strong curiosity to discover the new and improve the existing. An early passion for wine led me out of academia and into entrepreneurial life with BelgianWines, followed by roles in teaching, public speaking, consulting, and corporate leadership—giving me a mix of academic rigor, commercial focus, and practical execution. Over the years, I have built deep expertise in project and people management, data‑driven decision‑making, and retail‑specific disciplines such as sourcing, negotiation, category management, and international wine importing across both European and U.S. markets. That combination of technical, commercial, and leadership experience shapes my practical, data‑driven approach to supply chain design and commercial decision‑making. Today, I enjoy working at the intersection of data, strategy, and relationships—translating complex forecasting, inventory, and supplier‑management challenges into clear, actionable solutions that improve service levels, unlock margin, and strengthen long‑term partnerships between producers, importers, distributors, and retailers. If you work in wine or beverages and are exploring how to make your supply chain more resilient and data‑driven, feel free to connect.
