I combine clinical training as a medical doctor with strategy experience from McKinsey, M&A and commercial leadership in a listed medtech company, and now full global P&L responsibility as CEO of a private-equity–backed medtech company. I focus on clarity, execution, and shaping teams that deliver. I’ve led international organizations, strengthened commercial performance across Europe and the U.S., built high-trust KOL networks, and advanced MDR and FDA approval pathways for Class IIb/III implantable technologies. My work centers on aligning strategy with disciplined execution, developing scalable structures across R&D, RA, Clinical Affairs, operations, and commercial functions to enable consistent growth. I thrive in complex, regulated environments where clinical insight, strategic thinking, and operational leadership come together to bring meaningful innovation to patients.
A.M.I. develops, manufactures, and commercializes surgical implants and instruments. With full global responsibility for a portfolio sold in more than 60+ markets, I lead the organization across direct sales teams and an international distributor network to strengthen commercial performance and expand clinical adoption, particularly in Europe and the U.S. In parallel, I oversee the advancement of MDR and FDA pathways for implantable Class IIb/III technologies and the development of scalable, high-performing structures across R&D, RA, Clinical Affairs, QM, operations, and commercial functions.
Postdoc Research Fellowship in the Starzl Transplantation Lab focussed on targeted immunosuppression in hand and face transplantation, as well as improvement of nerve regeneration, supported by a fellowship of the Swiss Science National Foundation and a grant of the Department of Defense.
