Inventor and co-inventor of 14 patents and author of several scientific publications. Currently co-founding Resurgent Heart where we develop a new paradigm for managing cardiogenic shock patients after an acute heart attack with focus on improving the myocardial perfusion. I have more than 38 years global management experience from innovative medical device companies including Board positions (public/private), CEO & co-Founder roles and sales&marketing expertise from Europe, Japan, and the United States. Over time, I have gained solid understanding of governance, medical device funding, product launches, R&D processes, regulatory, clinical, and reimbursement processes. In sum, I can bring advanced medical devices to market world-wide with deep understanding of all entrepreneurial processes for Class IIb/III medical devices. Honored, humbled and excited to join Augere Medical as their Executive Chair! Improved detection of polyps by using AI is a breakthrough for augmented polyp detection rates and hopefully reducing the enormous economic and human burden of colorectal cancer. The Augere PolypAID system, now MDR CE-marked as one of the few systems in Europe, is uniquely positioned to take a substantial market share in the European market and beyond. Proud also that the Augere Board and Augere team are doing such a fantastic job in being close to our customers spurring the life-saving collaboration between clinicians and technicians to improve patient care using AI!
