Cloud software developer with IBM for 1.5 years. Working on the infrastructure of the IBM Cloud Virtual Private Cloud offering. Leading the Service Broker component development and supporting the larger Telemetry and Logging team. Received a Culture Catalyst award in my first year for my immediate impact on the culture of the team and my innovations and improvements to the team's workflow. Currently working primarily in Go and delivering changes in the IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service. The role exposes me to the inner workings of a cloud environment and I regularly work with a variety of tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Functions as a Service, Docker, Cloud Object Storage, and so much more. Regularly work on scripts and CI/CD tools in a variety of languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash and JavaScript. I've had a varied professional career thus far and have worked with so many interesting technologies and projects. LLVM compiler development, robotics, high end home entertainment systems, marketing software and even aircraft computer systems! I really enjoy learning new skills and how to apply them to all sorts of real world challenges. My varied experience allows me to hop into any new challenge and start contributing immediately and my desire to learn drives me to constantly push myself, both in my skills and in my role on a team.
