At Cisco, I was responsible for managing a group of Fortune 500 strategic accounts on a global basis. I provided professional leadership and coordination of sales/support teams. Together, we plan, organize, lead, and control balanced sales growth, continued account penetration, and customer satisfaction on a long term, multi-year focus. My teams developed and maintained relationships with new and existing clients to expand sales and identify new opportunities. We maintained a high-profile Cisco presence in the market place through the creation of win-win situations with customers that turned a sales relationship into a long-term commercial partnership.
At Avaya, I was responsible for managing a Fortune 50 strategic $30M+ account on a global basis. I managed sales and support teams totaling 22 people. We successfully executed a multi-year managed service agreement in excess of $17M per year, and maintained year-over-year revenue in a declining market for Avaya.
