January 2012 - : Renesas Electronics Gmbh Senior Staff Engineer From 2012 my main task is direct technical support to OEM business on the global arena, with international contact and coordination between different business units and support structures. Corporation with customers and HQ Japan to define new spec of MCU devices to the IoT and Industrial segment worldwide. Engaging OEM customers tightly to ensure smooth implementation of Renesas products. Setting long term strategies for future product developments and specifications to meet tomorrow days requirements from the marked. Work closely as an added recourses, to customers R&D departments. January 07 - 12 : Renesas Technology Principal Field Application Engineer Senior Field Application Engineer covering Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark on all Renesas MCU and MPU products. Israel is supported on 32-bit high-end products. Besides doing technical support and design in work at customers, I’m also doing reference design, HW and SW, to demonstrate specific features of Renesas products to customers. Other tasks are writing app notes to be published on Renesas web site, doing webinars and on-site technical training of customers and Disti FAE’s. Defining strategies with Sale – Marketing and HQ, to deliver best products and support to customers, based on needs and marked trends.
Nordic Product Manager where my primary role was to drive sale and FAE’s on following franchises: TI, LiteOn, Fagor, Wiznet and HCC Embedded. During that period I still had FAE responsibility for the following key accounts: Kamstrup – Carlo Gavazzi. During a period of 8 months we managed to increase the TI business with more than 25%. This increase of business was mainly driven by new designs, where the MSP430 were designed in at customers.
Here I did R&D jobs for following companies: Danfoss, Electrolux, Carlo Gavazzi, Sonofon, Østjysk Radiotelefon and SMS Solutions. Also I did consultant work for several smaller companies. Work included HW design, PCB layout, embedded software and EMC consultancy.
