Information Technology Services Division: Data Center / Servers / Storage / Recovery / Private Cloud • Cloud Architect: Plan, Design, and Implement LADWP's first On-Premise Cloud using BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management, Bladelogic Server Automation, Remedy, and VMware vSphere 6. • Project Manager: Manage all Storage Area Networking (SAN) projects migrating data from old storage to new enterprise storage solutions; convert disk array groups to thin pools. Manage projects working with various teams involving storage vendors and consultants. • Team Leader: Effectively Communicate with vendors, consultants, and various teams to direct large-scale projects. Train team members on SAN concepts and how to effectively troubleshoot issues pertaining to network, servers, and storage. • Storage Engineer: Manage the enterprise SAN consisting of ten Cisco MDS 95XX director switches and over 500TB of Hitachi/HP XP24000 & P9500 storage. Manage and provision storage requests for Oracle/SQL databases, applications, VMware, AIX, Linux, x86 blade servers. Managed systems such as EMC, Hitachi, Brocade, Cisco MDS 9513, IBM DS8000, HP StorageWorks XP24000, P9500, NetApp CDOT, and Oracle ExaData. • Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery: Manage enterprise SAN replication to protect & replicate production data to a remote site. Work with various teams to identify protected data, create test plans, coordinate/schedule testing, and train team members on replication strategies. SAN Replication using Asynchronous Journal, Hitachi Universal Replicator (HUR),VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM), and vSphere Replication. • Knowledge in various networking and storage protocols: TCP/IP, VLAN, VSAN, FC, FICON, FCIP, FCoE, Infiniband, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI. • System Administrator: Windows Servers, Oracle Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Oracle Virtual Machine, Oracle Virtual Network, Oracle Exadata, Oracle ZFS, IBM Power 7, P770, AIX, VMware, ESXi, HP ProLiant, HP BladeSystem c7000.
