Non-Profit Program Responsibilities -Oversee the employment of in and out-of school youth in Regional areas of operations -Responsible for planning, organizing and implementation of summer employment and training programs for youth. -Coordinate and meet with business and agencies marketing the opportunity for youth placement. -Communicate with youth providing work experience feedback through required documentation. -Oversee the payment of youth with payroll dept. or contract named payee. -Generate reports for PM/PS LES Coordinator for measurement and accountability of recruitment and performance. -Recruit and support the intake process for incoming youth - Assist participants in setting vocational goals. -Conduct training, remediation and objective assessment for participants entering the program. -Conduct job skills training that will strengthen the participants employability skills -Maintain participants case records with the information management staff regarding WIA -Refer participants to classroom training and job development based on individual assessment. -Responsible for mentoring and roundtable meetings with all participants on a regular basis. -Provide crisis intervention and referrals services -Provide required data to WIA management -Develop written signature projects and submit to Project Manager for review and approval. -Coordinate with local agencies and business to develop a network to support out-of –school projects. -Analyze program progress in accordance with contracts and initiate change under review of management to ensure continuous program improvement.
