As Director, I oversaw all technology touch points for the company and managed the technology department. DTC was our fastest growing channel, so my main focus was software development and supporting growth through e-commerce technology. - Led technical operations and support for DTC, coordinating with stakeholders in the digital, marketing, creative, merchandising, and logistics departments for day-to-day e-commerce operations. - Held code reviews to ensure code quality and project success, helped unblock tickets through use of good communication and technical knowledge. - Translated business requirements into technical specifications, created project roadmaps / milestones, and executed project implementation using agile scrum development processes. - I led in replatforming the b2c website from an internally built e-commerce application to SFCC. Since the launch, I have led my team in completing hundreds of SFCC projects using scrum and agile methodology. Some major projects of note were creating custom integrations (FedEx, Middleware, Feeds, TaxJar, etc). Implemented CI/CD, AUAT, and automated ADA compliance checking. Expanded the site to over 100 shipping destinations in local currency, several of which are also translated. - I led in replatforming our home grown back office systems to Oracle NetSuite. Since the migration, I have completed hundreds of projects that customized our NetSuite implementation to better fit our business processes and also completed dozens of integrations between NetSuite and SFCC to create an omni-channel customer experience. One major project was creating a custom-built, multi-currency Rewards program. - I built a middleware system for communications between various systems, mainly SFCC and NetSuite. It provides various functionality to the e-commerce site such as product reviews, a multi-currency stored credit system (gift cards, store credit, rewards cards), and retail appointment booking through a RESTful API.
