Experienced Senior Policy Adviser with a focus on EU public affairs. I have worked for both private companies and member associations on a variety of topics including plastics, transport, security, digitalisation, agro-chemicals, and environment.
At CER – the Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies, I was responsible for a number of regulatory topics, including the Multi-Annual Financial Framework (MFF), the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), environmental issues, digitalisation, and Brexit.
Manager for Regulatory and Technical Affairs at EUROMOT - the European Association of Internal Combustion Engine Manufacturers. Responsible for a number of varied topics, including energy standards (particularly gas quality), rules on REACH and Hazardous Substances (RoHS), noise emissions and industrial engines. I also represented EUROMOT at a number of European Commission working groups, and at CEN - the European Committee for Standardization.
At Hume Brophy, I worked in the Aviation, Travel Retail, Defence, Charity and Agriculture sectors. During my time with Hume Brophy I developed a particular knowledge of Airports, Travel Retail and Aviation Security along with Agri-Chemicals, Bio-tech, Science in Agriculture, Food and Feed, and Meat Imports. My work in Hume Brophy included intelligence-gathering, policy analysis, meeting organisation and advocacy campaigns in the EU institutions. I was also responsible for developing crisis communications and engagement programmes for a number of clients.
