Hired on to manage $10 million in fast-paced design build projects. - These projects were federally funded through the CARES Act, which brought with it strict funding deadlines and requirements that added unique adversity to the completion of the projects. - Completed all projects by funding deadline, within budget. - Managed RFI's, Submittals, Change Orders, and many other aspects of the projects with a team of 5-10 individuals. The hastened design of the projects bred many challenges and hurdles that required adept problem solving and dynamic leadership to keep the team moving in a unified direction. After completion of the $10 million in CARES projects, my role morphed into a catch-all executive wearing many hats, including: - Estimating: prepare bids for Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Tinker Air Force Base, private hard-bid projects, Tribal projects, and more. - Business Development: meet with decision makers and executives of potential clients and partners to develop long lasting relationships. - Accounting Controller: Manage company financials in a quasi-Controller/CFO role, including bookkeeping, running financial reporting, auditing accounts, preparing Pro Forma documentation, and tracking Key Performance Indicators for the company. - Software Implementation: Spearhead the integration of Procore for project and financial management, and transition accounting software to Quickbooks Enterprise to integrate with Procore. Implement Docusign to ease contract negotiations and improve company efficiency.
