About

Enthusiastic and motivated Mechanical Engineer (B. Eng. (1:1) & Ph.D) with 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing and testing of advanced polymers and reinforced materials. My My Ph.D focused taking a concept from TRL 1 to 4 for multi‑material assemblies and designing suitable joining techniques. Responsible for manufacturing within a highly interconnected, collaborative team project. This led to the development of a precision laser milling process and the novel moulding process. This allowed for the integration of recessed features into the composite adherend and the development of interlocking bonding surfaces to help provided a more damage tolerant hybrid mechanical‑adhesive joining technology. Experienced in Design of Experiments (DOE), mechanical testing, material characterisation, metrology analysis and analysing performance through statistical analysis. Proficient with multiple CAD programs, such as Pro Engineer/Creo and Solidworks. I have a continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail and a problem‑solving approach due to my engineering research experience. Presently looking at new challenging and innovative work opportunities
