  • Business Unit Manager at D'Ieteren Mobility Company
    Apr 2023 - Jan 2026 · 2 yrs 10 mos

As a Business Unit Manager it's my mission to deliver a profitable result for my entity. My greatest tool to achieve this: a motivated team of about 100 people. In this people driven business I believe that the key to influence my P&L is to invest a lot of my time in the team. Giving the team the responsabilities and tools to achieve our common goals is my day-to-day mission. Next to that, a constructive collaboration with the unions provides the insight of how to create a safe work environment with sufficient attention for the work-life balance.

  • D'Ieteren (11 yrs)
    • Continuous Improvement Manager (D'Ieteren Mobility Company)
      Sep 2022 - Apr 2023 · 8 mos

D'Ieteren Mobility Company is uniting the retail activities of D'Ieteren SA. The D'Ieteren Centers, Brussels Auto Group and Auto Natie Group are heading the same direction as part of the D'Ieteren Mobility Company. Therefore we set up a strong team in order to streamline this strategy. The team is an expansion of my previously created team at Auto Natie Group. Thanks to proven successes, we continue our approach by improving and harmonizing our existing processes and making our operational teams stronger through knowledge sharing. We also start taking the responsability of the implementation and optimization of digital processes.

    • Transformation Manager (Auto Natie Group)
      Jan 2020 - Aug 2022 · 2 yrs 8 mos

In a post merger environment in the Automotive industry I set up a Transformation cell from scratch. Together with my team we are aiming to harmonize the way of working between all the different business units and making our people better. A tough job, knowing that people generally are not asking for change. Thorough coaching, expertise, support and process optimization are our tools to make it happen, keeping in mind our profit goals. Efficiency, motivated people and profit optimization will hopefully be the result. Next to that I try to prepare for the future challenges in our industry and anticipate the big changes that are knocking on our door.

    • District Manager (ŠKODA Import)
      Jan 2015 - Dec 2019 · 5 yrs

Being the SPOC of all ŠKODA dealers in Brussels, Antwerp & Limburg, my goal is to make the dealers reach their KPI's. How it's done? By actively coaching Sales & Brand Managers in their day-to-day businesses and to help them set up action plans in order to reach the objectives. Bearing in mind the client satisfaction, we set up sales processes as a team with the purpose of influencing the customer journey and creating a true customer experience As a District Manager, it is utterly important to have outstanding communication skills. Your conversational partners are from all environments and levels, so the ability to adapt yourself is key. I believe the approach by measure for each individual is the most efficient.

Change creates opportunities. At BNP I experienced my first real change project. Telephony in the banking industry is revolutionary. Being able to book meetings with your personal agency advisor through a call center was the purpose of this project. I wrote the guidelines in order to guarantee a correct use of the system.
