My name is John Balido, and I am a Cal Poly SLO graduate with a degree in Experience Industry Management and a concentration in Event Planning and Management. In my free time I enjoy learning new hobbies and being active in general with my friends by running, hiking, surfing, climbing, going to the gym, or skating. People who know me well say that I am positive, social, work well in teams, and genuinely try to be inclusive to others. One interesting fact about me is that I am always exploring various ways to improve myself through habits, journaling, or simply learning something new about a topic. I am fascinated by the use of storytelling in the event industry, and how brands are able to leverage story elements to shape an individual's experience.
