I'm currently a Graduate Student at Ithaca College, obtaining my Masters Degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences with a Mental Concentration. I am interested in the field of Sports Psychology and look to pursue that path in the future with my graduate school education, internships, and jobs in the field.
-Provided a fun and safe space for kids to enjoy their summer vacation away from home -Worked primarily with 3rd and 4th graders, however also interacting with ages ranging from 1st-8th grade -Interacted with kids through organized games both outside and inside, as well as multiple field trips -Tasks done both before the kids showed for the day and after they left consisted of vacuuming, organizing playrooms and art rooms, cleaning bathrooms, putting objects back into sheds, and ensuring that the kids were dropped off and picked up by their parents safely and swiftly
- Collaborated with Athletic Communications team to execute administrative tasks in order to increase visibility and brand awareness for Alfred University Athletics - Participated in various athletic events under different roles, such as PA Caller, Stat Caller, Photographer, Scoreboard Inputter, and PA Announcer
The goal of this new position was to further expand the brand of AU Fresh and the dining halls throughout the campus of Alfred University. Using a student in the position would further appeal to other students on campus, while also boosting enjoyment around the idea of dining hall meals. Tasks and assignments include... -Taking photos within the dining halls and AU Fresh events around campus -Posting to the dining hall's social media pages to share changes in dining hall hours, past and future events, and showcase different food and drink options -Weekly meetings with the Director of Dining Services, as well as meetings with AVI Foodsystems employees, to brainstorm and follow through with new ideas regarding the social media, future events, and other future dining decisions
-Helped create a comfortable atmosphere and enjoyable experience for about 20 first-year students enrolled in FYE PSYC 101 classes -In charge of assisting students with their portfolio of the class and any other help they requested -Aided professor in scheduling class demonstrations, brainstorming future activities, and after-class help
-Worked to assist with Lewiston-Porter High School track and field meet -Duties included raking sand pit, measuring marks for the jumping events, and recording results
