I am a second year Aerospace Engineering student at Heriot-Watt with a passion for aircraft design, flight mechanics and space exploration. I'm keen to put my skills to use in the future in a defence/security position. I do recurve archery with the Heriot-Watt Archery Club. I've also been a carer for over 8 years, through which time I've developed many personal skills and grown as a person.
As class representative, it's my job to organise the opinions and feedback of the cohort and bring it to senior management to be discussed and actioned. We've already made positive changes in diversity, course management and the organisation of information for new students. Through this we get to shape the future of the course and make a positive impact.
Full-time young carer and then adult carer for family.
