Manage a Global Development team supporting Barclays mission critical Regulatory Tax applications. Provide Management oversight of Barclays vendor managed Asset Services applications.
Own, drive, and lead Global Operations projects until completion. Ensure issues are escalated, addressed and communicated to Project Stakeholders. Work with various technology teams to coordinate timelines and deliverables. Highlight and socialize dependencies to all stakeholders. Manage UATs and escalate critical issues. Interact and manage Cross Products: Equities, Debt, Synthetics, Stock Loan, and Financing, Cross Businesses: Prime, Wealth, and Prop, Cross Markets: EMEA, Americas, and APAC, and Cross Operations: Asset Services, Settlements, Middle Office, Stock Loan, Static Data and PCG.
Manage all mission critical Corporate Action’s applications at ML on various platforms. These systems process all Reorganization, Dividend, P+I, and Proxy events for the firm impacting millions of clients, both retail and Prime Broker, on a nightly basis The applications support the full life cycle of the action: event capture, entitlement determination, elections, payment, taxation, and reconciliation. Supervise a geographically diverse team of twenty-five. This group consisted of employees in Jersey City, Jacksonville and India, vendors in India and vendors throughout the tri-state area making it a challenge to have them all work together as a cohesive unit. Oversee the development and maintenance of multiple systems on various platforms. These systems support diverse business activities such as custody, stock transfers, abandoned property, treasury support and employee compensation. This position entails creating business requirements, writing estimates, project planning and tracking, budgeting, providing technical specifications, quality assurance verification, coding, management/user interface and utilizing offshore development components.
