At Microsoft I led the Azure for Operators Product Management group delivering hyperscale carrier-grade UCaaS and telecom products into global Tier 1 service providers, and delivering new mobile-first initiatives partnering with the Teams organisation. Launched multiple "hyperscale cloud-native" and AI-powered telecom platforms, and secured deployment at 8 global-scale Tier 1s within 18 mths, including AT&T, T-Mobile, BT, DT. Managed P&L for business lines of >$200M annual revenue and >400 people, and drove evolution of diverse product portfolio including late lifecycle cashcow product lines. Delivered consistently margin- and cashflow-positive outcomes to meet corporate objectives.
I led a global cross-functional team responsible for market & product strategy, product management / marketing and commercial performance for portfolio of UC&C, CCaaS solutions • Spearheaded a strategic pivot from traditional VoIP-based UCaaS to mobile-native UCaaS, driving adoption across micro-businesses, SMBs and mid-market enterprises. • Crafted and pitched the investment thesis for UCaaS native-mobility and telecom-enhanced CPaaS (now known as “Network APIs”), laying the groundwork for strategic acquirers. • Directly supported the PE exit and 2020 sale to Microsoft, including as product lead driving regulatory due-diligence that closed without material findings.
