About

Having worked in the environmental remediation industry for over thirty years, with thirty years of those in the thermal desorption treatment of soils for impacts by organic compounds, on projects in Canada and Europe, as well as in the United States. I have an in-depth knowledge of the environmental remediation business across the board and around the world, particularly respecting oilfield remediation projects, along with strong technical troubleshooting skills on TDU plants, which I've gained through having experienced practically every facet of the technical side of the business of thermal desorption: from the ‘groundman’ position on a thermal desorption plant and operating heavy equipment, to representing the company at technical and strategic meetings with stakeholders, to training new workers in the environmental remediation field, and with a ‘no-two-days-ever-the-same’ mix of office-based work including human resources, health, safety, environmental, permitting, and regulatory compliance, as well as field-based work including operations, plant modifications, emissions controls, and project management.
