I have a career of leadership behind me based in police work and the military. I have an MBA with concentrations in conflict/negotiation management and strategic leadership. I understand how to communicate with people, be part of team and I have the ability to work in complicated environments with strong personalities. I do not get stressed very easily. I am a former police union president and negotiator, I am familiar with employee problems and management techniques associated with those. I have negotiated several union contracts over the years. Through all of my experiences I am able to understand the difference between supervision and management and how a good leader can use both to achieve team work to accomplish goals.
