Direct functional areas whose purpose is to leverage the time of the Fixed Income and Equity Investment Professionals including portfolio managers, credit analysts, traders and investment analysts. Additional roles include: managing Market Data Services including contracts, invoices, and service levels ($3.5M annual budget), coordinating Business Continuity activities, and special projects or task force participation as business need demands. Provide leadership and support regarding resources, performance issues and project management. Specific roles include: develop department business plans and goals, manage processes and change at the division level and among departments, manage ongoing client and supplier relationships, recommend compensation and promotion, develop the organization and people to meet the organization’s goals.
Directed six Retirement Plan Managers (RPM) who oversee 401(k) Plan Service Teams (PST). Responsible for ensuring production and quality standards are met or exceeded. Coordinate with the Installation/Conversion teams in assigning new clients to the appropriate PST concentrating on plan features, arrival rates and client expectations. Work closely with RPMs and other managers to ensure that Unit personnel have the necessary tools, training and authority to get the job done. Developed and administered programs to properly incent and reward superior performance. • Co-led the migration from a paper processing environment to an image processing one which reduced cycle time and processing time by 35% • Managed 74 people and a $3.5MM budget • My unit handled 110 plans with 306,000 participants, the largest plan having 65,000 participants.
