Over 25 years in project management and technical roles have been dedicated to oil & gas field development projects with emphasis on production, drilling and facilities engineering. My strong cross functional background and ability to coordinate teams applies through all field development phases (concept through execution). Roles and responsibilities have included engineering, project estimating/planning/controls, and project management under reimbursable and lump sum contracting agreements. Work history includes fixed/floating offshore installations and MODU’s (Semi’s, SPAR, TLP, Ship Shape). Familiar with exploration, production, & drilling facets of the O&G business.
Big Foot Development (Concept Select through Facility Handover) Support a multi-disciplined team through “Concept Select” phase by coordinating concept alternative deliverables, cost & schedule estimates, risk reviews, decision records, VIP’s, assurance activities, and phase gate deliverables. Continued duties through FEED and Execution include coordination of external interfaces, basis of design development, management of change, decision records, risks, and operations input & approval. Coordinator supporting the project start-up, transition, and facility handover to the business unit. Gendalo-Gehem Development (Concept Definition) Facilities Integration – Contractor to Facilities Manager for G-G project team in CPDEP Phase 3 “Concept Definition”. Responsible to coordinate deliverables, procedures, inter-discipline interface, and assisting with facilities management administrative duties (cost, budget, reporting). Primary deliverables include Pre-FEED technical work, design basis development, and FEED tender document preparation.
Chevron – Gendalo Hub Development (Concept Select) Facilities Integration – Seconded to Chevron Facilities Manager for CPDEP Phase 2 “Concept Select”. Coordinated deliverables, procedures, inter-discipline interface, and assisting with facilities management administrative duties (cost, budget, reporting). Major deliverables included concept screening reports, facilities CAPEX estimates, and preparation of POD (Plan of Development). UNOCAL – Gendalo Hub Development (Pre-FEED) Facilities Engineer – Seconded to Unocal facilities Systems Engineering Manager during project select stage for the Gendalo deepwater development located offshore Indonesia. Responsible for document development (design basis, design philosophies, etc.) and coordinating early engineering per Unocal’s PMP and PRMP project management process for capital projects. The scope of work involved Subsea, FPSO, Export Pipeline, and Onshore facilities. ChevronTexaco – FRADE Development FEED Project Engineer – responsible for topside cost, schedule, and progress reporting for the INTEC/Alliance integrated project team. Responsible for topside components of Class 3 CAPEX cost estimates and assistance to development of the phase 4 Project Schedule. The development consists of an FPSO with subsea completion configuration and internal turret/mooring system. Design flowrates include 100,000 BPD oil, 130,000 BPD water and 76 MMSCFD gas, with a peak liquid capacity of 150,000 BPD. Heavy / Viscous crude. Waterflood peak injection rate of 150,000 BPD.
