I am currently a Captain in the United States Air Force working as the Deputy Chief Data Officer for the Air Force IC Element as well as the Data Portfolio Manager for the Air Force ISR CIO's Office. Our main focus is to establish policy, oversight, and guidance for data management practices and principles across the enterprise to enable interoperability between systems in support of efforts such as ABMS and by extension C3BM and CJADC2. Previously, I worked as our section's lead data scientist at the 711th Human Performance Wing, working on a multitude of efforts. These ranged from eXplainable AI utilizing SHAP and Topological Data Analysis for identifying important characteristics that successful candidates possess in different training programs across the Air Force to time series forecasting satellite trajectories using a variety of deep learning techniques in conjunction with uncertainty quantification, namely conformal prediction. I currently hold an M.S. in Operations Research with a Graduate Certificate in Data Science from the Air Force Institute of Technology where my research was concerned with the feasibility of using deep learning models to forecast officer attrition with econometric data as the feature space. I also have a B.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics and a minor in Actuarial Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
