Chief Engineer for the Royal Saudi Air Force and Qatar Emiri Air Force DB-110 programs. Responsible for all technical aspects of the program. Also taken on the role as Chief Engineering Manager - Post-Delivery & Sustainment for all international DB-110 customers.
Lecturer in the Engineering Technology group. Classes taught include DC, AC, Analog and Digital Electronics theory and laboratory. Additional classes taught include Distributed Systems, Electrical Machines and Electronic Communication. Certified online instructor from Northeastern University, developed online course material for online instruction.
Manage and execute all DB-110 training. Develop and write all training material as well as perform in-house and in-country training for our international customers. Create budgets, SOW's, and act as cost account manager for DB-110 training contracts.
Lead test engineer for all final test, analysis and integration of DB110 surveillance pods. Responsible for testing a variety of optical and electro-mechanical systems, writing detailed test procedures, streamlining and updating existing test procedures and processes. Designed and managed the effort to automate an existing manual thermal chamber temperature controller, allowing test engineers to perform more value-added tasks. More efficient control of temperature ramping, reducing chamber-testing time from eight hours to less than four hours. Recommended, procured and configured a COTS cable tester. Designed and oversaw manufacture of custom adapters for cable testing. Immediate results seen in reducing test and inspection of a cable set from two days to under two hours. In addition, I am the in-house technical point of contact for our United Kingdom and Japan customer.
Worked as a metrology technician after Organogenesis position was eliminated due to company bankruptcy. Worked on-site at Avecia Biotechnology in Milford, MA, maintaining analytical and process instruments. Specified process control instruments from user-defined requirements. Authored Avecia’s Metrology Preventative Maintenance program SOP. Verified, and updated complete calibration database by performing system walk-downs, which resulted in streamlining the existing database by over 20%
