The Irish Metal Archive (www.irishmetalarchive.com). A non-profit, DIY operation started in 2010 and set up to help promote and preserve the Irish Metal Scene. The aim is to catalogue and preserve everything related to Irish Rock, Hardcore, Punk and Heavy Metal from the late 1970’s to present day and into the future. The Archive features profiles and releases from current and past bands along with free content made available to stream or download with permission from bands. I am an experienced Electrical Designer with over 15 years of experience. Starting off as an Electrical CAD Operator, and moved on to Electrical Design, Engineering and 3D Modelling/Co-Ordination on many major in-house and site projects. In this time I have been responsible for the design, installation and commissioning of electrical aspects of projects. I have excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office and IT skills and in particular he has experience in the following: LV and MV Single Line Diagrams Cable Containment routing – 2D and 3D. Cable sizing and design Design of MCCs, switchgear and distribution boards Earthing, bonding and lightning protection Schematic/Wiring Diagrams Electrical building services design including lighting, fire alarm, public address and general services. I was responsible for the design and draughting of electrical diagrams, schematics, layouts, schedules and lists. I was also responsible for the draughting of Instrumentation Loops, Layouts, etc. I have been involved with a number of projects including an “ATEX Upgrade” Study for Coca-Cola in Athy and Drogheda, the Janssen “PHU Upgrade” and “Vent Header” Projects, as well as numerous smaller projects for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Cognis Ireland Ltd., Wyeth Medica Ireland and Schering Plough in Avondale and Brinny.
