SCOPE: 1.1 The Orapa Fines Residue Disposal (FRD) entails the installation of a new degrit plant to remove +.3mm grits from the slurry (-1.6mm scrubber and dense media separator fines). The -0.3mm slimes will be pumped to a new Transfer Pump Station and eventually pumped to the new slimes dam. GMC scope of work includes the construction of transfer pump station i.e. preassembly, rigging, erection, installation, inspection, examination, testing and commissioning of Structural Steel, Mechanical, Plate work and Piping (SMPP) as well as the construction of 2 x slimes pipelines 400mm & 500mm diameter carbon steel overland pipeline and 630mm HDPE pipeline. 1.2 Construction of permanent conveyor for tailings disposal (SMPP). 1.3 Construction of Ultraseps (SMPP). 1.4 SMPP shutdown works, Karowe mine XRT replacement. RESPONSIBILITIES: Measurement and certification of work done (Maintain an up-to-date measure of the value of work done, Produce monthly valuations/claims, Validate, agree and signoff on final accounts with PQS and Sub-contractors, Measure extra’s and Variations, Prepare and update final measures), Budget & Cash management, Contractual conditions, legal compliance, and administration, Oversee, co-ordinate and consolidate the submission and processing of claims, Ensuring conclusion of all contract documentation (e.g. performance and payment guarantees, insurance, etc), Ensure that accurate and timeous contract costing, reports and budgets are prepared, Cost and Value Reconciliation, Contract administration, Ensuring effective records management through the maintenance, collection, recording and filing of site records, instructions, and correspondence), Procurement, Commercial Management, Change Management, Estimation, Handling Contractual correspondence, Planning and Scheduling, monitor schedule and reporting on project status.

The scope include Well Site Facilities consisting of (Wellheads, Instrumented Over-pressure Protection System (IOPPS), Choke Valve, Chemical Injection Skids, Drain Vessels, Vent Stack, Hydraulic Package, Well Head Control Panel, Fire and Gas Detection System and i CCTV, Flow lines), Remote Manifold Stations Facilities consisting of (Production Test and Drain Manifolds, Multi phase Flow Meter, Chemical Injection Skids, Maintenance flare, Drains Drum,Pig Launchers, Control and Safeguarding Panels, Fire & Gas Detection System and i CCTV), Trunk lines/Pipeline (Metallic and Non Metallic), Power Plant Facility consisting of (GTG Package, HRSG Package, Emergency Diesel Generator, Process Automation System, 132kV Overhead line, 132kv Building and Control Building, SCADA, Hydro carbons drain system).
