Supervised all stages of post production, addressing network notes, story producing own episodes, and mentoring junior members of the story team. • Responsible for all thirteen episodes of MTV's If You Really Knew Me, which tracked the experiences of high school students taking part in an empathy-building program to break down barriers between individuals and cliques. • Responsible for all eighty-three episodes of A&E's Beyond Scared Straight, which followed at-risk youth taking part in incarceration-diversion programs in prisons and jails. Scouted potential filming opportunities by observing numerous programs at correctional facilities across the US. Field produced participant intro packages. • Story produced a short subject film on behalf of a missing persons advocacy organization through pre- and post-production, threading heart-wrenching stories of loved ones lost and those fighting to find them (Black & Missing). • Series honored with a multiple awards including an ACE Eddie Award, a CINE Golden Eagle Award, a Prism Award, and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Picture Editing.
• As Head Writer, oversaw team of editors and story producers, created workflows, liaised directly with network, and directed narration sessions on a first season Discovery verité series following US Coast Guard rescue swimmers and helicopter and boat crews (SOS Coast Guard Rescue). Pivoted to crafting the stories of Hurricane Katrina rescues as our embedded camera teams deployed to New Orleans. • Wrote scripts and story produced for programs such as diverse as a Travel series documenting accounts of miraculous, divine intervention around the world (Miracle Quest), a Discovery science series on invisible and micro-phenomena (What You Can't See), a NatGeo series on individuals contending with rare diseases of the skin and bones and the science behind them (Rare Anatomy), a green home renovation series hosted by Emmy-winner Steve Thomas (Renovation Nation), and a TLC series following a helicopter logging crew in British Columbia (Heli-Loggers), among several others.
