Working with a small team we have been responsible for the delivery and decommissioning of all IT&S services for BP GWO drilling assets globally. Including real time drilling operations and working with the business on developing and deploying new technologies.

As an IT Team Lead/Senior Technical Specialist, implemented changes in BP’s IT infrastructure, facilitating support for various Federal agencies communications. Managed and supported the team. Supported field operations. Ensured the process for all data retention relating to the MC252 incident at the Mobile ICC. Managed external Legal Hold data vendors. Supported the needs of both commercial entities and government agencies involved in the cleanup efforts. Wrote policy documentation – digital security and compliance. Explained complex technical theories in layman’s terms. Performed ship monitoring and GPS/RFID tagging to help locate, manage, and deploy personnel, vessels and boom in the cleanup operations. Ensuring sites are stabilized to steady-state operational mode. Developed technical skill sets in Prosource.it’s staff. Identified team leadership and trained them accordingly. Cross-educated Prosource.it’s staff on account knowledge and processes. Organized Specialist Training and OSHA and BP specific courses, skill-set improvement of local teams.
As an IT Engineer for BP Air, Transocean, Global Marine, Red Barron, DSND, Subsea7, BP, Global Santa-Fe, Baker Hughes, BJ Services, Smith International, Schlumberger, supported a variety of IT technology project assignments for various Prosource.it clients across multiple disciplines.
The scope of the project included ownership of site pre-planning, startup, logistics, consultations with site IT personnel and key stake holders, migration of sensitive data, Early Life support and team leadership. Management Deliverables included client asset management, scheduling of resources, daily status reporting, weekly reporting summary’s and Budget management for local teams.
Develop and deploy SMS 2003 to US and Mexican Sites using 1e Nomad to mitigate bandwidth issues. Preparing for future upgrade to SCCM. Develop Application portfolio for deployment to Clients and servers.
Build out of the UK infrastructure and procurement of Hardware for 3 oilfields and New UK Head Office.
