This role is in the Asbestos, Demotion and Construction. Collaborating closely with the Manager, to quote and deliver a variety of Asbestos removal and demolition projects. A vast majority of the projects are Qld Government i.e., Education, Hospital, Housing with values ranging from $100 to $1M plus. Other industries covered are, and not limited to, the Sugar, Shipping, Agriculture and Mining. Key Duties • Onsite inspections, quoting and sample taking. • Preparation of project documentation including Letters of Offer, QBuild Tender Documents, MS Project Gantt chart, SWMS and ARCP. • On site project delivery including employee, consultant and contractor management and evaluation and schedule management. • TRON cashflow management, budget management, work order and purchase order management. • Labour Management. Key Projects • $140K AMSA / Qld National Parks – removal of asbestos waste from Little Fitzroy and Russell Islands via Helicopter and Barge. • $320K Mareeba Department of Agriculture Laboratory Building – demolish internal rooms of asbestos cement sheeting. • $435K TMR Quaid’s Auction Sheds - refurbishment of rooves by the removal of Super 6 asbestos sheets, structural repairs and demolishing entirely of one of the three sheds. Highlight: Initiating and supervising removal of asbestos waste from Little Fitzroy and Russell Islands.

Responsible for the supervision and performance management of Boilermakers Review and assess completed works to ensure compliance with industry standards Maintain strict compliance with all safety requirements Assist in the preparation of asset maintenance schedules and estimates as required Coordination and supervision of all staff in the fabrication/wharf maintenance area Allocation of work, work priorities and work criteria / standards to maintenance staff
Coordinate the plan of processed steel and shaped fabric required within the North Queensland region Ensure the delivery of material within specified customer timeframes Ensure the most efficient management of operational resources Monitor and maintain all safety practices and procedures
