I have an established track record of delivering software projects in industry. My specialisation is the .NET technology stack, from SQL Server through to WCF services and onto client technologies such as WPF, ASP.NET and WinForms. Currently at Finova, an established provider of mortgage origination and servicing software products to the UK financial services industry. I am responsible for the analysis, design and development of software products to UK mortgage providers, specifically mortgage origination software.
Working across a variety of customers (UK banks and building societies) on Finova mortgage origination and savings platforms. Delivered GDPR anonymisation enhancements to our mortgage sales system, and the delivery of this feature to all our customers. (Metro Bank, Sainsburys Bank, Santander). Delivered mortgage affordability (underwriting) modules for use in a high street bank. Advising internal project delivery teams on how to use and configure Finova’s mortgage software so it can meet client’s requirements. Attending customer facing meetings with key stake holders. Building and Deploying our software to the cloud using Azure DevOps. Documenting code changes to ensure audit passage and knowledge transfer to project teams.
Created the automated underwriting system for enhanced medical impaired annuities, from start up to go live. Delivered enhancements of a computer-based customer questionnaire form for medical imparied enhanced annuities.
Responsible for the design and development of bespoke distributed car park management software for clients. Customers included Tescos, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Moto, MacDonalds etc.
