Professional: My objectives when working with customers is to provide the safest and best possible service with the available resources. I enjoy working with people who demonstrate a willingness to learn and working with people that have more knowledge than myself in a given area, thereby affording me an opportunity to learn as well. I have high expectations for myself and also those that work with me. Good enough is not good enough. Skilled labor isn't cheap and cheap labor isn't skilled.
John's Welding and Fabrication is a welding shop servicing the energy industry in the Powder River Basin of Northeast Wyoming. In addition to shop and field welding services my company is now offering CWI services, Penetrant testing, Magnetic Particle testing and Ultrasonic testing services. The primary CWI training was for AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code-Steel and subsequent training has resulted in an AWS endorsement for API 1104-Welding of Pipelines and Related Facilities. Additional inspection services include welder certification, WPS development, QA/QC, weld mapping and ASME code work.
This is a company that was established for our rental property that we have owned in Gillette.
As part of the requirements for my degree with the Northeast Wyoming Community College I was given the opportunity to work in the engineering department at L&H Industrial. This was an incredible opportunity which allowed me to enhance my skills at mechanical design using the AutoCad design program. These are skills which I still utilize in my business today.
