John has been listed on the Queensland government register since the 1980's as a Specialist Retail Valuer and makes regular rental determinations/submissions under the Retail Shop Leases Act 1994. He is an active expert valuer in litigation matters involving a wide range of property types such as hotels, motels, heritage buildings, marina facilities, restaurants, commercial, industrial, retail, residential, golf courses, quarries, master planned estates and other specialist categories. John is often engaged to value the real estate component of port infrastructure and seabed leases, particularly at Port of Brisbane, various Queensland harbours/islands and recently in the Solomon Islands. He has embraced a wide spectrum of specialties that have allowed him to fulfill valuation instructions throughout Australia, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia and New Caledonia.
