Appointed to advise and provide Leadership to the Biden/Harris Campaign on important issues that affect the 48 rural counties of Pennsylvania.
Secured and opened two campaign offices. Secured over 100 volunteers to phone bank and campaign door to door. Assist with supervision of campaign Field Organizers. Advise on campaign related issues and meetings in three counties. Organize various Congressman Cartwright meet and greets, rallies and fundraisers. Extensive use of computer systems including Votebuilder.
Trustees of the College Board: Advise on College Board related programs including Advanced Placement (AP), SAT, PSAT and the Profile financial aid form. Approve the organization's mission, strategic goals, and objectives. Establish policies related to membership, programs and services. Approve the annual budget and major program fees. Make legal and fiduciary decisions. Hire and advise the president, who is responsible for the management of the organization.
Coordinate a comprehensive K-12 School Counseling program.Oversee a staff of 20 Psychologists, School Counselors and Social Workers. Helped develop and coordinate an Advanced Placement (AP) program that was nationally honored for the past three years by our school being named one of the Best High School in America by US News & World Report, Newsweek, the Washington Post and the College Board. Counseled a caseload of high school students which included social, emotional and college and career readiness issues in individual and group settings. Extensive background in the college application process. Specialized skills include public speaking, data analysis, financial aid/scholarships, organizational leadership,public relations and mediation. Extensive professional development.
Secured a volunteer staff of 250 individuals and coordinated an election campaign for US Congressman Chris Carney in two counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Advise on current issues of importance to constituents. Directed a campaign headquarters. Field Coordinator for 3 election campaigns - 2006, 2008 and 2010.
