Most recently just complete my Masters of Science degree with Merit at Glasgow Caledonian University in Glasgow, this course was taught at Cisco Expert-level certifications (CCIE) level, with emphasis on protocols such as BGP, DMVPN, EIGRP, and OSPF, while at University I was elected the Class Representative which took the ideas from the class and myself to improve the overall learning experience for my fellow classes and the next year intake, my dissertation focused on securing VOIP communication using MPLS and VPN. Previous to completing my MSc, obtained a 2:1 BEng Network Systems Engineering, , this course focused on networking at CCNP level in subjects such as Advanced Routing and Switching. Additionally, course also included subjects on IT Project Management, Quantitative Modelling and Cryptology, Research Skills and Professional Issues. While at College I competed in World Skills UK Network infrastructure technician regional heat 1 day event which I came in First place, my overall mark was into the top 8 of all people competing. This meant got to compete with the 7 other best marks at a national level in Birmingham which was spread over 3 days of competition. These challenges required a high level of understanding of Cisco troubleshooting and design. I’ve have worked in the IT field for the past 20 years for such companies as IBM, Acer, AOL, and Virgin Media, doing such roles as System builder, Tester, Technical Support, Contact Centres and similar type roles. I’m looking to advance my career in computer networking.
Break fix engineering, installation of Cisco and Microsoft servers, depending on needs of clients
