Bright Machines is a privately held manufacturing as a service (“MaaS”) company that offers flexible robotics and various SaaS based software tools for factory process automation. At Bright Machines, I oversaw all aspects of accounting operations worldwide for 10 legal entities. I managed accounting teams in the U.S., Israel, Mexico, and China as well as third-party consultants responsible for accounting and regulatory compliance in several other countries.
Oversaw all aspects of the accounting organization and scaled accounting operations for public company readiness. Led day-to-day general ledger activities including management of six direct reports and several indirect reports and international third-party consultants. Responsible for revenue recognition and COGS for a SaaS business. Oversaw month-end and quarter-end close process, including review of account reconciliations and financial statements, stock administration and system-improvement projects.
