Accountable for the developed and implemention of a global program to improve Shell’s performance in well and reservoir management, enhance production performance and improve the management of producing assets.
Accountable for the performance and technical aspects of Shell’s development activities in the African region (mainly based in Nigeria) including vetting/approval of investment proposals, robustness of reserve estimates, and technical robustness of development plans through decision gates.
Managed, together with the EGPC appointed chairman the day-to-day running of the joint venture including stakeholder management (shareholders EGPC and Shell, industry partners Apache). Key achievements during this period included the resolution on the Obaiyed field contractual dispute with KBR and increasing the production performance of the mature Bed 3 and Bed 2 fields.
