About

As someone with a strong aptitude for mathematics and science, I’ve always been fascinated by how chemistry shapes the world around us. This passion led me to pursue a Diploma in Chemical Engineering at Temasek Polytechnic and, later, a Double Degree in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration at the National University of Singapore (NUS). These disciplines perfectly align with my strengths and aspirations while opening doors to fulfilling career paths in renewable energy and large-scale chemical production. During my time at Temasek Polytechnic, I was selected to participate in the NUS Chemical Engineering Interschool Competition, where I tested my problem-solving and technical skills against peers from other institutions. Additionally, I collaborated with design students from another school as part of the Procter & Gamble Innovation Challenge, developing innovative solutions to real-world problems. These experiences not only honed my teamwork and critical thinking abilities but also deepened my appreciation for the interdisciplinary nature of engineering and business—skills that I believe contributed to my acceptance into NUS’s Double Degree program. Studying business alongside engineering has allowed me to bridge the technical and strategic aspects of problem-solving. From mastering core engineering principles to gaining expertise in marketing, supply chain management, and leadership, I’ve developed the ability to collaborate effectively across both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. This intersection of knowledge equips me to drive innovative projects and contribute to the growth of forward-thinking organizations. I am particularly drawn to roles where I can contribute to the development of sustainable solutions and cutting-edge technologies that address the challenges of our ever-changing society. With a solid foundation in two distinct disciplines and valuable project experience, I bring a unique, well-rounded perspective and am excited to add value to companies seeking to innovate and grow. Let’s connect—I’m eager to discuss how my skills and experiences can make an impact!
