A fully qualified Electrician and Manager with over twenty years of experience working on Industrial, Commercial and Domestic projects, skilled in installation and maintenance electrical work. Most recently I have worked on multiple Data Centre projects. I am capable of reading and working from complex Electrical and Architectural drawings and communicating with others to ensure everyone has a full understanding of the project however large or small. I have proven my ability to work well within a team setting and am confident to take on all instructions, to ensure the successful completion of the designated task. Management of the Commissioning Tagging process and procedures. Reporting Progress on all Commissioning activities both internally and externally. Chairing weekly commissioning meetings and directing weekly commissioning activities. Attending the Main Contractor and clients weekly commissioning meetings and reporting out weekly progress. Development of the Project commissioning schedule in conjunction with the project planners. Responsible for the Compilation of all Testing and Commissioning Documentation including verifying and signing off on all results. Familiarity with and management of Project Commissioning Schedule Management of all day to day on site commissioning operations. Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co- ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings. Close out of all project items including O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Implement a weekly look ahead ensuring co-ordination with vendors and trades. Issue internal weekly progress report. All other duties associated with this role.
Scheduling of power on systems with vendors Ensuring the commissioning of procedures and activities being implemented Creating and managing the completion of all Electrical test packs to include and record test result readings and identify errors Chair daily meetings with management to provide updates and status reports on equipment vendors and sub-contractors Site walks with management and client-based personnel Testing cables and systems including but not limited to MV power up to unit subs Transformer and generator power up Powering up AHU’s, CRAH’s, Extractor fans, UPS’s, EPMS and BMS systems, House boards, PDP’s, ATSC cabinets and Whips, Busduct and Busduct tap off boxes.
Commercial, Industrial and Residential projects including: Installing and terminating and testing of large SWA copper cables. Industrial cable tray, Installations of trunking conduit basket systems. Working in high voltage switch rooms Complete installation of all wiring and switching in high end residential homes to the highest standards.
Installation of complete electrical systems in high end residential properties, restaurants and office blocks. Liaising between architects, designers and project managers. Managing projects and ordering the necessary materials. Reviewing employee time sheets and submitting weekly reports to owner. Maintaining safety standards to O.S.H.A specifications.
