In 1980 opened mens and womens retail store John Anthony, Santa Monica Ca in Los Angeles county selling wholesale, and retail to the general public, the studios, television, and the movie industry, Our customers included many celebrities who frequented our store, such as Dustin Hoffman, Farrah Fawcett, Chis Farley just to name a few. Our second store opened in Venice Beach Ca 2 years later, and by the year 2000 sold to The famous designer, and clothing chain manufacturer, Tommy Hilfiger, who moved one of their retail stores from Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, to the 3rd St. Promenade Santa Monica. The business transaction was also published in the L.A Business Journal newspaper

My school is a hybrid of many different aspects of the many different martial arts systems, that were thought to me by my many teachers. Although I personally come from a predominant Kempo Karate Japanese based & Ti kwon do background, where powerful lightning fast kicking is predominant. I have also incorporated aspects of Judo, ju jitsu, as well as Muay Tai, Akido, kick boxing, American boxing, and of course the ultimate martial arts Tai Chi. We are truly a mixed martial arts We teach all ages, and I also teach for the company Young Champions Karate which has over 90 schools in California, Arizona
