I am an experienced commercial director with expertise spanning key business functions such as Sales, HR and Finance in a commercial setting. I have multi-channel experience working with customers across Grocery, Wholesale, On-Trade (Hospitality), and online channels across the Island of Ireland. I have hands-on experience managing all commercial channels within the drinks industry, along with extensive knowledge of national and key account management. I have direct responsibility for P&L with an emphasis on revenue growth. I have led large commercial teams in various roles, focusing on sales while overseeing significant back-office support functions. I believe in the ability of the individual and I strive to empower and enhance the skills that each individual possesses. As a senior member of the leadership team I have devised and implemented customer strategy in line with overall company objectives. I am responsible for preparing and presenting company performance KPIs at quarterly shareholder board meetings. I have a strong track record of delivering results while effectively managing both team and personal performance.
I lead the commercial function of the organisation, managing all business channels in the drinks industry across the Island of Ireland. Since taking on the role of Sales/Commercial Director in 2012, I’ve worked with my team to successfully adapt to the changing marketplace, focusing on revenue growth, and achieving strong results aligned with the company strategy. In January 2024, Edward Dillon & Co. expanded into Northern Ireland, and before appointing a local team, I established trading relationships with all customers in the region.
Heading up the sales function of the organisation reporting to the CEO. Directly Managing National Account function along with a Key Account Team, Regional Managers and field sales team.
I managed several customers directly while working across all channels to deliver company objectives and KPIs.
I worked as Regional Manager in the On Trade channel where I managed a sales team along with national key accounts. During this time I managed two teams across the east and south of the country. I was a member of the leadership team and I was seconded on several project roles during a transitional period in the company.
I joined Coca-Cola as a Business Developer and was promoted to Business Development Manager within 2.5 years. After a further 3 years I moved in Key Account management with the Away from Home channel.
